Green Up Heiloo

Green Up The City has participated in a greening project of the municipality of Heiloo for the 'Resident distribution campaign 2024' project with the plant selection and delivery of organically grown native perennial garden plants and shrubs.

During this campaign, the municipality of Heiloo gave away rain barrels and organic plants to the residents of the municipality of Heiloo. Residents could register for this and made full use of it. The campaign was very successful; all rain barrels and organic plants were given over.

With the distribution campaign and the efforts of residents, the municipality and residents work together to create a living environment that is resistant to heat and flooding.
