Green Up The Hague

Six unique container gardens have been placed in the Laak district of The Hague. These are the first container gardens in the Netherlands filled with organic plants. The gardens are adopted by involved residents. These container gardeners take care of the maintenance of the plants. “You immediately see that it connects residents. Everyone who walks by has a chat and wants to help with watering,” says container gardener René.

Working together towards a green city
