Green Up Alkmaar

What a fantastic initiative! Every year, residents of the Spoortbuurt in Alkmaar receive garden plants to brighten up the neighborhood.

“We offer the plants for free every year,” says Jasmijn Pronk, board member of the neighborhood association of the same name. “We used to do it with annual plants, but now we opted for organically grown perennials from Green Up The City. These are grown without poison and fertilizer. grown and grown every year. More sustainable and good for biodiversity."
